Company Presentation

ADA Cosmetics traces its origins to 1979, when founder Andreas Dahlmeyer had the idea of personalised hotel cosmetics — starting with a single bar of soap produced in a small workshop and sold in a gold-leafed black box, later customised with hoteliers' own branding. In 1990 the company launched the industry's first dispenser system, press + wash, establishing itself as a pioneer in hotel amenities technology well ahead of the sustainability-driven refillable systems now standard across the sector.

Following the 2015 acquisition of Scanamenities (Denmark, founded 1986) and Pacific Direct (UK, founded 1991), the three companies were united in 2016 under the joint umbrella ADA Cosmetics International. Today, more than four decades after its founding, ADA Cosmetics is a global manufacturer and curator of a 'House of Brands' spanning luxury, lifestyle and sustainability-led hotel amenity lines, alongside a market-leading portfolio of hygienic, recyclable dispenser systems, serving hotels, cruise ships and airlines in more than 50 countries.
